My client are looking for a hands-on and eager-to-learn Junior Ride and Arcade Machine Technician to join their team. In this role, you'll help keep the rides and arcade machines running smoothly and safely. You’ll work alongside an experienced technician to perform basic maintenance, assist with repairs, and support daily operations. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in technical maintenance or looking to gain experience in the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Support:

  • Help inspect and check rides and arcade machines to make sure they are working properly.
  • Assist with minor repairs and basic troubleshooting of equipment under supervision.
  • Help perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, testing, and checking for wear and tear.

2. Safety Checks:

  • Assist with daily safety inspections and reporting any issues found.
  • Learn and follow safety procedures and regulations.
  • Support the team in keeping records of maintenance and inspections.

3. Operational Help:

  • Help set up and install new machines or rides.
  • Support senior staff during busy periods or when machines stop working.
  • Monitor machines during operations and flag anything unusual.

4. Reporting:

  • Keep simple records of tasks completed.
  • Communicate clearly with the team about any problems or repairs needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Must-Haves:

  • A basic understanding of how mechanical or electrical systems work (hands-on experience).
  • Interest in learning about arcade machines and amusement rides.
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in a hands-on role (e.g., handyman, mechanic assistant, or similar).
  • A relevant certificate or technical training course.
  • Familiarity with tools, machines, or basic repairs.
