About the Role


We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Chiller Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background or interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical engineering who's looking to take the next step into a specialist field.


You'll work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial chillers across London and the surrounding areas. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop into a fully qualified Chiller Engineer.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assist senior engineers with servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

  • Learn to carry out fault diagnosis and basic commissioning tasks.

  • Maintain service records and support the completion of job reports.

  • Follow all F-Gas and Health & Safety procedures.

  • Undertake ongoing training and development to achieve full certification and competence.


Requirements


  • Some experience or qualifications in HVAC, refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical/electrical engineering (NVQ Level 2/3 preferred but not essential).

  • A keen interest in developing a long-term career within the chiller industry.

  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills.

  • A good work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred (or working towards obtaining one).
