This wonderful, innovative, highly renowned media firm near Covent Garden, is looking for a PA to support the Deputy General Counsel and wider team of 7 lawyers as needed. They are looking for someone with at least three years' experience to join them and assist the team with administrative and legal support.  This is a really great place to work, where people are busy but very friendly and supportive. You will be able to learn a great deal, and the main requirements are that they find someone meticulous, professional, reliable and hard working. A degree is essential and experience within professional services would be highly advantageous. They are looking for someone to join them ASAP and become a valued member of the team. 

The duties will include but not be limited to:

Diary management: Liaising with external lawyers, barristers chambers, Editors’ offices, journalists
▪ Email Management: Monitor and manage the Deputy General Counsels email inbox - Ensuring matters are filed, escalated or processed as appropriate.
▪ Calls: Take calls, respond to correspondence, direct queries and act as an approachable and helpful ‘front of house’.
▪ Paper File Management: Ensure paper files (litigation, admin, law reform, staff, training, finance - including insurance and auditors’ papers) are organised and kept up to date. Ensuring the department files are organised efficiently.
▪ Admin Assistance: Expense claims, invoice payments, maintaining proper records, preparing agendas, correspondence, legal documents, itineraries and travel arrangements.
▪ Complaint forms: Circulating complaint forms about published articles, complaint report forms and information about the same.
▪ Misc: Obtaining information from internal departments including circulation figures, subscription details, IT information and statistics. Using clipshare and internal systems to retrieve published articles. Forwarding articles and correspondence to external lawyers/counsel.
▪ Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required.

This is a wonderful role, working within a great team, getting exposure to media and interacting with high profile people. As such it requires someone discreet, who is a team player, able to prioritise their workload, push back when needed and is methodical in their approach to tasks.
