Description

  • Represent the organisation to international, UK national and trade media, with a strong understanding of its operations, goals and challenges.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to media enquiries, managing priorities within a fast-paced press office.

  • Gather accurate internal information to inform media responses and build relationships across relevant business areas.

  • Provide guidance to senior leaders on media engagement and public communications.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets across national and international platforms.

  • Lead and deliver media strategies and communications campaigns using both traditional and social media to support the organisation's reputation.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to source and create high-quality content for corporate channels, including press releases, articles, videos and social media.

  • Support crisis communications and contribute to a rotating schedule that ensures 24/7 press office coverage.
