The Talent Set are working with a reputable NHS health client who are looking for their next Senior Media and Communications Manager starting ASAP.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Helping support the organisations communications and engagement strategies particularly with media relations.
  • Working very closely with research teams, partners, strategy and overall improvement division.
  • Ensuring media enquiries are promptly actioned and issues are managed sensitively.
  • Leading on scoping, messaging and core content with colleagues in communications and research functions.
  • Managing a programme of proactive media coverage to support the organisations objectives and priorities
  • Providing senior communications and engagement advice to key executives, stakeholders and relevant project teams.
  • Supporting a website project launch coordinating key relationships across the organisation ensuring information is collated in a timely manager and teams are brought together sensibly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Worked within a science, health or research led environment
  • Proven track record of senior media relations and producing communications engagement strategies.
  • Experience of delivering effective media plans with wider integrated communications campaigns
  • Strong proactive and reactive media experience
  • Excellent stakeholder relationships engagement particularly with clinical audiences, scientists or researchers.

This is a 12 month contract starting ASAP paying between £61-68,000 per annum. This role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in their central London offices.
