Position: Junior Account Manager

The Role

This role involves a blend of client relationship management, technical consultation, and strategic planning to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. Using your technical knowhow, you will develop an in-depth understanding of our products, processes, and services, you will be instrumental in aligning our offerings to the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders through regular engagement, including on-site / in person and virtual meetings.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend tailored solutions from our product suite with our expert pre-sales team.
  • Act as the primary client advocate within the Company, ensuring your client’s needs are communicated and prioritised.
  • Drive contract renewals, identify growth opportunities, and protect recurring revenue streams through strategic account management.
  • Mediate feedback between clients and internal teams, assisting in the creation of internal procedures to enhance service delivery.
  • Inform clients about new products and services, offering personalised suggestions to ensure client retention and improve sales efficiency.
  • Work with our Marketing Manager on client marketing campaigns, including drafting newsletters and providing regular business updates.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including consulting with prospective clients to assess their needs, provide strategic guidance, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
  • Work with our Procurement Manager, on issuing accurate and in a timely manner sales orders, and contracts; respond to invoice inquiries and draft proposals for any opportunities.
  • Assist clients in obtaining Cyber Essentials accreditation by offering guidance and education. Ensure that all clients are provided with a Risk Register and an actionable Cyber Security check list.
  • Assist with GDPR compliance, including contract revisions and documentation updates.

Skills and Experience

  • Current or recent experience in B2B account management or client services role.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cloud & Infrastructure Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Numerate, with confidence in discussing pricing and financial data.
  • Proactive, energetic, and client-focused, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and managed services.
