Key Responsibilities
- Daily production of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Maintain consistency and quality in all baked products.
- Manage ingredient inventory, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with management to plan seasonal menus and special promotions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot baking equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Baker in a commercial or artisan bakery.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creativity and innovation in developing new recipes and products.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety and health regulations.

- £16.50/hr DOE starting rate
- Progression to £17.50/hr after 6 months (performance dependent)
- +£1/hr premium for hours worked before 6AM
- 12-month retention bonus (paid only if no unauthorised absences and performance standards are met)
