About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join a state-of-the-art Bodyshop. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and trim aspects of repairing damaged vehicles, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of manufacturer specifications and quality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated technician to work with modern equipment and techniques in a fast-paced, leading accident repair centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim operations on a variety of vehicles.

  • Strip and fit vehicle components in preparation for body repair and refinishing.

  • Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and in line with manufacturers' specifications.

  • Maintain high levels of productivity in a dynamic workshop environment.

  • Uphold exceptional standards of workmanship to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as an MET Technician or Strip Fitter within a busy bodyshop environment.

  • A recognised apprenticeship and a relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, or ATA).

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques and standards.

  • A self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude and a commitment to achieving bonus targets.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
