Operations Analyst - Synthetics Risk - Middle Office

Marshall Wolfe are hiring on behalf of our global investment client, who are looking for a Middle Office Analyst. This role sits within the Synthetics Risk Middle Office team, supporting Equity Derivatives trading. It will offer the opportunity to partner closely with front office, sales, and other internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth trade execution, accurate risk management, and operational excellence. You will gain deep exposure to equity derivative products while developing strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for trading desks, ensuring trades and hedge positions are accurately captured and maintained
  • Oversee the full front-to-back operational flow, including trade lifecycle, reconciliations, and risk control
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to enable business growth while managing operational risk
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, scalability, and automation
  • Build strong product knowledge across equity derivatives, cash securities, and listed products

Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in trade processing or middle office within equities
  • Understanding of equity derivative products and trade lifecycle processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
