LEAD CREDIT RISK ANALYST

UP TO £65,000

LONDON

This is an exciting new opportunity to work for a company building out their capability in credit risk and analytics. You will work directly with the CRO and aim to take the credit risk function to the next level.

THE COMPANY

This company is a social business with plans to revolutionise the financial services. Their aim is to scale their alternative to the high-cost lending market and help reduce financial exclusion. Over the last 18 years this company has helped 100,000 people save on interest costs, start up their own business and avoid eviction from homes.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Lead on credit scorecard development (end-to-end)
  • Work closely with the CRO and Data Science to deliver results meeting deadlines.
  • Create dashboards to monitor scorecard performance.
  • Carry out monthly performance reviews and investigate issues.
  • Carry out portfolio monitoring and analysis.
  • Support acquisition strategy.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Previous experience developing a scorecard.
  • SAS, or R skills are desirable.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end credit risk lifecycle.
  • Strong numeracy skills, specifically in statistics and machine learning.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong numerate degree.
