Our client, a leading EPC energy company, is seeking a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to design, plan, and oversee the construction of wind and solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Perform structural analysis and stability calculations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate designs.
- Oversee construction activities and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and provide technical support on-site.
- Identify and mitigate potential structural risks.
- Prepare documentation for planning and building permits.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer) preferred.
- Experience in structural engineering within the renewables sector.
- Strong understanding of UK regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
