Mobile Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management / Building Services

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £45,000 + van + benefits]
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time

About the Role

One of our clients who are a technical service provider are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of commercial sites.

You’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and installations on electrical building systems — ensuring compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across a number of commercial office buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency systems, and distribution boards

• Fault-finding, testing, and repair of electrical and control systems

• Complete small works and installations where required

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and statutory regulations

• Maintain accurate service records and ensure high levels of client communication and satisfaction

• Travel between client sites using a company vehicle, providing support across the region

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent)

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• Proven experience within commercial building services or FM environments

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Additional testing & inspection (2391 or equivalent) desirable
