Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Plumbing / Pipefitting Bias)

We’re seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias, ideally from a plumbing or pipefitting background, to join a well-established building services contractor. This is a great opportunity to work across a variety of commercial sites, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services systems
- Diagnose faults, repair and replace defective parts, and ensure systems are running efficiently
- Work on pipework, valves, pumps, AHUs, FCUs and general plumbing systems
- Complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation accurately
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times
- Travel between sites as required (company van provided)
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, plumbing or pipefitting
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred
