My client seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and service multiple buildings across the London area.

The role involves the delivery of preventative maintenance on pumping systems and associated mechanical equipment, as well as attending to reactive and corrective maintenance tasks.

You will be responsible for fault finding, investigating mechanical faults, and recording findings where necessary. The role also includes carrying out repairs, replacements, and calibration of equipment and pumps, and providing technical support to operational staff to resolve complex mechanical issues.


This role is paying circa 46k.


Previous Mechanical Maintenance experience on heavy industrial machinery is essential. Also NVQ Level in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned preventative maintenance on pumping systems and mechanical equipment
Respond to and resolve reactive and corrective maintenance issues
Conduct fault diagnosis and investigations, documenting findings accurately
Perform repairs, replacements, and calibration of pumps and mechanical equipment
Support operational teams with complex problem resolution
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies


Skills
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Proven industrial mechanical maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly pumping equipment
Fault finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to carry out repairs and calibrations on mechanical equipment
Commitment to health and safety compliance and safe working practices
Valid UK driving licence
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and accurate record keeping


Software/Tools
Maintenance management systems (desirable)
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)


Certifications & Standards
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or equivalent
Valid UK driving licence
Knowledge and compliance with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
