Responsibilities and duties of the Project Controls Reporting Analyst role

As the Project Controls Reporting Analyst you will:

* Gather, consolidate, and analyse project data across multiple systems and disciplines.
* Prepare high-quality progress reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior stakeholders.
* Ensure all reporting outputs meet defined quality standards, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
* Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
* Validate data for consistency, accuracy, and completeness before inclusion in reports.
* Track key project health metrics including CPI, SPI, Earned Value, and other KPIs.
* Identify and communicate trends, variances, and emerging risks from performance data.
* Support project reviews, steering committees, and audit processes with relevant reporting.
* Maintain documentation, version control, and data definitions to ensure clarity and traceability.
* Act as the central point of contact for project reporting, liaising with planning, cost, risk, and delivery teams.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or similar
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and Power BI
* Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
* Sound understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, cost/time forecasting, and Target Cost methodologies.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
