KS1 Class Teacher - January 2026 Start
Location: Islington, London
Pay: MPS 1-6 (206.75-268.21 per day)
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday (08:30-16:00)
Duration: January 2026 - July 2026, with potential extension
SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be supporting a wonderful one-form entry primary school in Islington in their search for an experienced and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher. This welcoming, community-driven school is known for its nurturing ethos, strong staff collaboration, and genuine commitment to every pupil's success.
The school is looking for a passionate practitioner who brings enthusiasm, high expectations, and a genuine love for teaching. ECTs are not being considered at this time, so applicants must have proven experience teaching within KS1.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge and support KS1 learners
Create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
Track pupil progress and use data to inform teaching and raise attainment
Establish strong behaviour management routines in line with school policy
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, teamwork and enrichment opportunities
