SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a vibrant one-form entry primary school in Islington that is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The school is looking for a confident and capable teacher with solid KS2 experience. ECTs are not being considered at this stage, so applicants must bring a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and proven classroom impact.

Key Responsibilities (KS2):

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum

  • Teach with high expectations, ensuring progress for pupils of all abilities

  • Confidently deliver upper and lower KS2 content, including Maths, English, Science and foundation subjects

  • Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and support them to develop independence and resilience

  • Use formative and summative assessment to track progress and inform next steps

  • Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of SEND, EAL and higher-attaining pupils

  • Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies

  • Foster strong communication with parents, colleagues and the wider school community

  • Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, events and collaborative planning
