Location: Islington, London
Pay: MPS 1-6 (206.75-268.21 per day)
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday (08:30-16:00)
Duration: January 2026 - July 2026
SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a vibrant one-form entry primary school in Islington that is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The school is looking for a confident and capable teacher with solid KS2 experience. ECTs are not being considered at this stage, so applicants must bring a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and proven classroom impact.

Key Responsibilities (KS2):
Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Teach with high expectations, ensuring progress for pupils of all abilities
Confidently deliver upper and lower KS2 content, including Maths, English, Science and foundation subjects
Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and support them to develop independence and resilience
Use formative and summative assessment to track progress and inform next steps
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of SEND, EAL and higher-attaining pupils
Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies
Foster strong communication with parents, colleagues and the wider school community
Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, events and collaborative planning
