About the Role
A friendly and ambitious Greenwich primary school, a short walk from Charlton Station, is looking for an inspiring Primary Class Teacher to join their KS1 team from January. This is a full-time Year 1 position within a supportive two-form entry structure.
As a Primary Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment, and classroom management. You'll work alongside a parallel teacher to share planning and deliver a creative, well-structured curriculum designed to build strong early literacy and numeracy foundations.
The Ideal Candidate
The school hopes to appoint a Primary Class Teacher who:
Has recent experience in KS1 or early primary
Brings excellent behaviour management and warm, clear communication
Can deliver engaging lessons that support progress for all learners
Works collaboratively and responds well to feedback
Has strong organisational skills and a passion for early education
