We are excited to be supporting a vibrant, inclusive primary school located in the heart of Hackney, East London, in their search for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September 2025.

This forward-thinking, two-form entry school is renowned for its nurturing ethos, strong community links, and commitment to excellence in education. The school prides itself on supporting new teachers with an outstanding ECT induction programme, regular professional development opportunities, and strong mentorship from experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities – Primary ECT
•    Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
•    Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to foster a strong sense of community.
•    Maintain a well-organised, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
•    Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work in line with school policies and national curriculum requirements.
•    Take a proactive role in your own professional development, embracing feedback and mentoring support.
•    Participate in wider school life, including after-school clubs, trips, and special events.

Person Specification – Primary ECT
•    A qualified Primary ECT (or due to qualify in 2025) with UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
•    A passion for delivering high-quality education and a deep understanding of how children learn.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    A reflective practitioner who is eager to grow and develop within a supportive environment.
•    Ability to create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
•    Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
