A welcoming and nurturing primary school, vibrant and inclusive school located in Hackney is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their supportive team starting in September
The school are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who:
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.
* Possesses an excellent understanding of the Year 1 curriculum, including phonics (e.g., knowledge of Phonics Play, Letters and Sounds, Read Write Inc.)
* Is skilled at creating a stimulating, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn.
* Is committed to fostering a love of learning through creative, play-based, and practical approaches.
* Demonstrates strong classroom management skills, promoting positive behaviour and independence.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and carers.
* Is proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to their own professional development.
