- Have QTS
- Ideally have experience as a year 2 teacher or key stage 1 teacher, but experience in other year groups is fine
- Have high expectations of themselves as a key stage 2 teacher, and of course, of their students
- Be able to promote open minded-ness and celebrate diversity
- Be able to promote healthy lifestyle choice and physical activity
