About the school:

Reeson Education are currently on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher on behalf of one of our client schools. This community focused primary school is two form entry and the headteacher encourages supportive teaching and encourages class teachers to plan lessons together. After a recent OFSTED visit this primary school has been awarded with 'good' and continues to foster a nurturing and creative space for children to achieve.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Your role as the Year 4 Teacher will be to plan and deliver high quality lessons in line with the UK curriculum, pushing the students for the final term of this academic year and assessing student progress regularly.
  • You will be responsible for establish strong standing relationships with both students and parents and the wider school community.
  • As the year 4 Teacher you will also work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enrichment activites across KS2.

Year 4 Teacher qualifications:

In order to qualify for this position of a year 4 Teacher you will need the below:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience Teaching in key stage 2 (KS2) and strong knowledge of the year 4 curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
