An excellent Primary School in Deptford, SE London is looking for a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to teach a Year 2/3 class two days per week - Thursdays and Fridays - starting October 16th. This long-term Primary Teacher position is ideal for someone who enjoys classroom teaching but prefers a balanced, part-time schedule.
The school has a warm and inclusive environment, with a dedicated team of Primary Teachers and support staff who work collaboratively to create engaging, creative lessons. The Primary Teacher will join a supportive team and will have access to excellent resources and shared planning time.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a mixed Year 2/3 class.
Collaborate with fellow Primary Teachers across the phase to plan and assess learning.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom behaviour.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
Be a proactive and reflective Primary Teacher who contributes positively to school life.
Primary Teacher Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent classroom experience.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
A positive, flexible attitude and passion for inspiring young learners.
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team of Primary Teachers.
