SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a wonderful independent SEMH school in Barking & Dagenham. The school specialises in educating young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

They are looking for a primary teacher to teach a small group of KS2 students (year 3 and year 4).

You will only teach 1 or 2 children at once.

There will be a lot of freedom in this role- you will be able to be very creative, design and deliver your own bespoke curriculum specific to the students' needs. ABOUT YOU

  • Applicants will ideally have QTS, but application from unqualified teachers/cover supervisors are considered
  • Ideally have experience in an SEMH/PRU setting
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and protecting the needs and rights of children
  • Believe in restorative practice and trauma- informed approaches
  • Resilient and thick-skinned, with strong behaviour mangement skills
