About the Role:
As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring that your students receive the best possible education. You will be supported by a dedicated team, providing opportunities for professional development and guidance as you embark on the next stage of your teaching career. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable classroom experience in a nurturing environment, with plenty of opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.

Differentiate lessons to ensure that all students are supported to reach their potential.

Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to both pupils and parents.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, motivated, and confident in their learning.

Work closely with the teaching team to deliver a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Establish strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open lines of communication about student progress and development.

Participate in regular professional development and mentoring sessions to support your ongoing growth as a teacher.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A passion for teaching, with a particular interest in working with children in Key Stage 1.

Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
