Are you an experienced and passionate Year 5 teacher ready to take on a new challenge? We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join our team for a one-year contract starting in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
- Set high expectations for all students, ensuring that each child is challenged to reach their full potential.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and track individual progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, teamwork, and personal growth..
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching across the school.
About You:
- You are a fully qualified teacher with a solid background in teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5.
- You have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate your students.
- You have experience in planning, assessing, and differentiating lessons to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- You are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
- You are willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check if required.
