The HNW Mortgage Paraplanner Role
Working closely with senior advisers and HNW clients, you’ll manage 5-10 cases at a time, each one high-value and often complex. Your role is to handle the structuring, packaging, and coordination of deals from initial instruction through to completion - enabling advisers to focus on client relationships and strategy.
You’ll need to be unflappable under pressure, commercially savvy, and genuinely passionate about delivering a premium service.
HNW Mortgage Paraplanner Key Responsibilities
- Liaise directly with HNW clients, private banks, and specialist lenders
- Prepare, package, and submit mortgage applications with accuracy and speed
- Track each case through to completion, managing all correspondence and follow-ups
- Ensure all compliance, documentation, and administrative tasks are handled flawlessly
- Proactively prioritise business-critical tasks to drive revenue and deal flow
- Support senior advisers by streamlining their workload and anticipating needs
HNW Mortgage Paraplanner Package
- Salary: £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
- Bonuses & Incentives: Performance-related
- Working Environment: Admin work can be mostly remote; Thursdays in the London office are essential
- Case Load: 5-10 active cases, typically £1.2m+ average case size
HNW Mortgage Paraplanner Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting advisers in private client mortgages, HNW lending, or private banking
- First-class organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail under pressure
- Experience with residential mortgages, including bridging exposure
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to prioritise business-generating activity
- Comfortable working with high-profile and demanding clients
