Estate Services Operative

Location: London E14
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: 14.43 per hour
Start Date: 24/11/2025
Length of Assignment: Three months

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Estate Cleaner / Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our residential sites remain clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents and visitors.

• Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, litter picking, and dog waste removal.
• Keep car parks, play areas, and bin sheds tidy and well-maintained.
• Clear bulk waste from sites when required.
• Report health and safety concerns and any maintenance issues to management.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Provide occasional cover for other staff during sickness or holidays.
• Carry out grounds maintenance tasks such as weed control, sweeping, and litter picking (where trained).
• Patrol sites to check for faulty street lamps and signs of anti-social behaviour.
• Attend sites to clear fly-tipped rubbish.
• Skim bins in case of missed collections.

• Reliable and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit for manual and outdoor tasks.
• Previous experience in cleaning or grounds maintenance is desirable but not essential.
