Tradewind are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to inspire and develop young musicians across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the school's music provision while fostering a love for music among students.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping Teaching & Learning of Music
  • Deliver inspirational music lessons to all children, from our two-year-old nursery to Year 6.

  • Ensure continuity and progression in planning, teaching, and learning.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and support all pupils.

  • Work closely with the Inclusion Manager to support SEND, EAL, and disadvantaged pupils.

  • Develop children's, staff's, and parents' enthusiasm and confidence in music throughout the school.

Music Leadership & Events
  • Lead and manage extra-curricular music provision, including choirs and orchestras/bands.

  • Organise and coordinate music events for parents and carers, as well as collaborations with local schools and organisations. Some events may take place in the evening or on weekends.

  • Liaise with Camden Music and other music professionals, including instrumental teachers.

Requirements
  • QTS or significant experience in primary music teaching.

  • Experience working with Early Years, KS1, and KS2 students.

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills for managing music events and extra-curricular activities.

  • Passion for developing music education and making it accessible to all pupils.
