Are you passionate about science and global collaboration? Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Scientific Programme Officer to help deliver its international programme of scientific meetings and events. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of one of the world's most prestigious scientific institutions, supporting global research and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning and delivery of international scientific meetings, lectures, and networking events
- Collaborate with scientists, Fellows, and international partners to shape impactful programmes
- Manage logistics, budgets, and delegate processes with precision
- Draft briefing materials and reports for senior stakeholders
- Support onsite delivery of events in the UK and abroad (approx. 3 trips/year)
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex, high-profile events-ideally with international partners
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and organisational abilities
- A degree or equivalent experience
- Cultural awareness and a passion for science and global engagement
- Familiarity with the academic or scientific community
- Understanding of interdisciplinary research and its global impact
