Sonic Summary

The position is for a Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist in London with a salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The role involves helping children with disabilities with daily activities and educating their families on proper care techniques.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of paediatric occupational therapy experience and be HCPC registered.
Experience in Sensory Integration is preferred, though certification is not mandatory.
The therapist will work with up to 7 children per day, conducting 45-minute sessions and documenting their progress.

Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

LondonSalary: £35000 - £40000 DOE per annum.

Our well established client is looking for a Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
Seeing up to 7 children a day (45mins sessions).

Qualifications and skills:

HCPC Registered.
Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (2 years preferred).
Sensory Integration experience - certification not required but some experience essential.
Excellent communication skills.
