What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a vital role in supporting children with learning disabilities in a specialist SEN school setting. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct holistic assessments tailored to children’s sensory, motor, and cognitive needs

  • Develop and deliver personalised intervention plans

  • Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote independence and function

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, families, and other professionals

  • Document progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and goal setting

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration

  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities, ideally in a school or paediatric setting

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

  • Confidence in working independently within a multidisciplinary framework

  • A passion for supporting children’s developmental and educational outcomes

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This flexible locum role runs Monday to Friday, with both full-time and part-time availability considered. The contract is ongoing, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and service demand.
