Job Specification Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Community Rehab Location: Grays Court Community Hospital / Block 8, Goodmayes Hospital, IG3 8XJ Division: Intermediate Care Division - Intensive Rehab & Therapy Service Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30 (37.5 hours per week) Contract Type: Ongoing Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours per week) Pay Rate: Band 6 - Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Driving: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential Key Responsibilities: Independent assessment, treatment, and discharge planning of patients within a community rehab team Clinical reasoning for equipment provision and ordering Use of recognised outcome measures Coordinating and attending family meetings Working within an agile and responsive community-based rehab setting Essential Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist NHS experience post-qualification Previous experience in community rehab or intermediate care highly desirable Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an MDT Driving licence and access to a car (essential due to the nature of the role) Desirable: Familiarity with outcome measures and adaptive equipment Strong communication skills with patients and their families
