Sonic Summary

The position is for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist based in London.
The salary ranges from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates should ideally have 4 years of paediatric occupational therapy experience and be HCPC registered.
The role involves helping children with disabilities perform daily activities and educating their families on care techniques.
The therapist will see up to 7 children a day, conducting 45-minute sessions and documenting their progress.

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

LondonSalary: up to £38,000 - £45000 DOE per annum.

Our well established client is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
Seeing up to 7 children a day (45mins sessions).

Qualifications and skills:

HCPC Registered.
Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (4 years preferred).
Experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach.
Excellent communication skills.
