What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist and play a key role in supporting neurodiverse young people in a brand-new specialist school. The school delivers a mainstream curriculum in a specialist setting, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform detailed assessments to identify strengths and support needs

  • Develop and implement personalised therapy programmes to enable access to learning

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote independence and participation

  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and wider multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration

  • Experience working with neurodiverse children and young people (ASD, ADHD, sensory processing needs, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school setting

  • A passion for supporting young people to thrive in education and beyond

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a full-time locum position (Monday–Friday) with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 12 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on service needs.
