Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Divisional Manager to lead and oversee multiple supported living services. This role requires a skilled operator with a strong background in adult social care, experienced in managing multi-site operations, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services.

You will provide operational leadership to a team of Service Managers, ensuring all services meet regulatory standards, financial targets, and organisational values.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of supported living services across multiple locations.

  • Line manage and support Service Managers to deliver high-quality, safe, and compliant care.

  • Ensure services meet or exceed CQC standards and internal quality frameworks.

  • Lead on service development, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage divisional budgets, staffing structures, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with commissioners, local authorities, families, and other stakeholders.

  • Champion HFT's values, promoting dignity, inclusion, and empowerment in all services.

  • Drive recruitment, retention, and workforce development within your division.



Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational role in adult social care or supported living.

  • Strong track record of multi-site management in regulated care environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, and quality assurance.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Relevant health and social care qualifications (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care).



Desirable:

  • Experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.

  • Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred planning.

  • Experience in a not-for-profit or charitable setting.
