About the Project:
We are delivering a high-profile hospitality fit-out project in Central London with a contract value of 13m. The scheme requires exceptional attention to detail, programme management, and delivery to the highest quality standards.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the site delivery of this fast-paced and complex project. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale hospitality, hotel, or high-end fit-out projects and be capable of driving programme, managing subcontractors, and maintaining exemplary quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring programme milestones are achieved.
Manage subcontractors and direct labour, driving productivity and quality.
Oversee health & safety compliance in line with CDM regulations.
Coordinate with the project manager, commercial team, consultants, and client representatives.
Ensure the fit-out is delivered to the highest standards, in line with brand and client expectations.
Resolve site issues swiftly, maintaining momentum on critical path activities.
Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and mitigations to senior management.
Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a collaborative and proactive working environment.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of site management experience, with at least 5 in a senior construction manager role.
Proven track record in hospitality, hotel, or high-end commercial fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, MEP coordination, and finishing trades.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving ability and commercial awareness.
SMSTS, CSCS (Black), First Aid certification required.
