GSL Education London Branch are delighted to be recruiting an Art/DT Teacher for a vibrant coeducational secondary school and sixth form in the Greenwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative Art / DT Teacher who is ready to inspire young people and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department.
As an Art / DT Teacher, you will bring energy, imagination and high-quality teaching to the classroom. The school is looking for an Art / DT Teacher who can motivate students, deliver engaging lessons, and help maintain the high standards of teaching and learning across the department. Responsibilities of the Art/DT Teacher:-
Plan and deliver engaging Art and DT lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Prepare creative resources and support students with practical work.

Assess, monitor and record student progress.

Contribute to the wider school community and department development.

Support with general cover responsibilities if required after Christmas.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology in a school setting.

Strong classroom management skills.

Ability to inspire creativity and confidence in students.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A passion for supporting students’ learning and development.
