Teaching Assistant - Autism and Social Communication
Location: Lambeth | Contract: Full-time, Term-time only | Salary: 105 - 120 per day

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant - Autism and Social Communication to support pupils with complex social communication needs and/or Autism. You'll work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver tailored support and make a real difference in children's lives.

The Role

You'll:

  • Support children in class, small groups and 1:1 sessions
  • Deliver interventions with guidance from Speech and Language Therapists
  • Provide emotional, pastoral and behavioural support
  • Build positive relationships and help pupils communicate with confidence
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Safeguard pupils and attend training and meetings as required

About You

Experience is not essential - we provide full training. You should be:

  • Passionate about working with children with SEN/Autism
  • Caring, patient, adaptable and a good listener
  • A strong communicator and effective team player
  • Keen to learn and develop professionally
