As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable customer experiences and representing the history and values of our store.
Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Full-Time Barista to manage the daily operations of our outdoor coffee cart. This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit, has a passion for coffee, and enjoys engaging with both new and returning customers. You will be a key holder responsible for opening and closing the coffee cart, maintaining operational excellence, and serving top-quality beverages with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Open and close the coffee cart independently (key holder responsibilities).
- Set up and clean down the coffee cart each day.
- Move the cart into position each morning (must be physically fit).
- Ensure brewing equipment is functioning properly; report maintenance issues promptly.
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Customer Experience
- Greet customers warmly and invite them into the store while their coffee is being prepared.
- Answer questions about the coffee offerings and share knowledge about Clients' history and products.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and inviting cart area at all times.
- Receive and process payments accurately (cash and card).
Beverage Craft
- Consistently prepare and serve high-quality, beautifully presented beverages.
- Follow recipes and preparation techniques with attention to detail and quality.
- Monitor coffee supplies and perform regular stock checks; place restocking orders when necessary.
Team & Brand Engagement
- Provide feedback to managers regarding customer suggestions or requests.
- Educate clients and teammates about coffee types, origins, and brewing methods.
- Follow operational policies and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a consistent attendance record.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with manual and automatic brewing equipment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to operate and move an outdoor cart.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for quality customer service.
