A specialist SEMH secondary school in Newham is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 11-16 with complex social and emotional needs. This role is ideal for a strong communicator with a passion for helping students overcome behavioural barriers to learning.
Main Duties:

Deliver behaviour interventions and mentoring programmes

Build trust-based relationships with high-needs pupils

Support students with crisis management and emotional regulation

Encourage attendance, engagement and self-esteem
Ideal Background:

Previous work in a PRU, special school or youth support setting

Confidence dealing with challenging behaviour

Team Teach or MAPA training desirable
