About the Role:A vibrant, welcoming Early Years Children's Centre in the heart of Islington is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a rewarding role within a supportive, nurturing setting committed to providing outstanding care and education for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Working as part of an experienced and friendly team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality early years provision and supporting children's development in a warm, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Provide high standards of care, education and wellbeing for all children

  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers

  • Monitor, assess and record children's progress and development

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of Early Years professionals

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g. BA in Early Childhood Studies, Qualified Nursery Nurse)

  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices

  • Positive, nurturing and proactive approach to childcare and education

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Available for full-time, shift-based work starting in September 2025
