We are seeking a skilled and experienced CPCS Hoist Operator to join our team on a construction site in Woolwich South East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of our passenger and goods hoists, ensuring that materials and personnel are transported efficiently and safely across the construction site.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the passenger and goods hoists safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily checks and maintenance of the hoists to ensure their safe operation
- Communicating effectively with site management and other workers on the construction site
- Ensuring that all relevant health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Reporting any faults or issues with the hoists immediately to site management
Requirements:
- Must have a valid CPCS card for passenger and goods hoists
- Previous experience as a hoist operator on a construction site
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations and their importance on a construction site
