Description
- Receive, raise, and track repair requests from residents.
- Provide accurate responses to repairs and maintenance enquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure KPIs are met.
- Liaise with surveyors, contractors, and housing colleagues on repairs and voids.
- Ensure all necessary certificates and documentation are in place before re-letting properties.
- Respond to resident complaints and enquiries, aiming for first-contact resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and practices.
Profile
A successful Interim Repairs Officer should have:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in repairs, building, or construction.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in maintenance/construction.
- Experience delivering high-quality repairs and void maintenance services.
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and record-keeping ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to resident involvement, equality, and diversity.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work occasional evenings/weekends.
Job Offer
- Competitive hourly rate of 17 to 21, depending on experience.
- Temporary position lasting between 6 and 12 months.
