Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Greenwich
Remedy are currently seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a vibrant Secondary school based in Greenwich. This is a full time position to starting Monday 2nd June.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and EHCPs
- Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
- Communicating with external agencies
Position Details:
- Position: Level 3 TA
- Location: Greenwich
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 - £120 per day, depending on experience
- Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time only
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 3 TA qualification is essential
- Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and PMLD is essential
- Team Teach training is highly desired
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
