Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant (Qualified)
Location: Walthamstow E17
Salary: £11.44 - £14.77 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 4 hours per day (11am to 3pm)
Contract: Permanent: Part-time,
We are currently recruiting for a part time qualified Level 2 or 3 Lunch Cover Assistant, The right candidate would need to be flexible as is occasionally relied upon to cover staff holiday and sickness.

A wonderfull 85-place nursery housed in a brand-new, purpose-built two-story building. Conveniently located near the Victoria underground line and various bus routes, our nursery is designed to provide a nurturing environment for young minds to flourish. With a first-floor balcony overlooking the outdoor learning area and a separate kitchen and dining area to promote healthy eating habits, our facilities are thoughtfully crafted to support the holistic development of each child. What you will be doing
- Cover in nursery rooms to release staff for their lunch breaks, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
- Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in setting up and tidying away lunch areas, including tables, chairs, and food service stations.
- Engage with children in positive interactions, encouraging good table manners and social skills.
- Support the nursery staff in implementing dietary guidelines and accommodating any special dietary needs or allergies among the children.
Requirements: Nursery Nurse Lunch Cover
- Be able to work Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm (all year round)
- Level 2 / 3 or above qualification in early years essential
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Your passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with children
