  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines is essential, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.

We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee works on a district heating project. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civils disciplines, and be confident coordinating site activities and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day site activities across mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards

  • Monitor and enforce health & safety procedures and site compliance

  • Ensure all work meets project specifications, drawings, and technical standards

  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting

  • Work closely with the project manager, engineers, and client representatives

  • Identify and escalate any site issues or delays in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role on district heating, energy, or infrastructure projects

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical pipework, electrical systems, and civils (trenching, reinstatement, etc.)

  • Gold ECS card

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification

  • First Aid at Work

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and RAMS

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Background in CHP or district energy networks

  • Experience working in live environments or public-facing sites

  • Temporary works or lifting operations knowledge/certification
