We are looking for a Part-Time Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a nurturing and dedicated specialist independent SEMH school.

This is a unique opportunity to bring language learning to life for students who benefit from a creative, trauma-informed approach to education.

About the School

Our client school provides a personalised and therapeutic learning environment for students aged 11-16 with a range of SEMH needs. With small class sizes and a strong focus on individual progress, the school aims to re-engage learners through trust, consistency, and high-quality teaching.

MFL Teacher Role
  • Deliver engaging and accessible MFL lessons at KS3 and GCSE level.

  • Develop creative, differentiated lesson plans that reflect students' individual needs and interests.

  • Support learners' personal and academic development within a nurturing, relationship-based culture.

  • Collaborate closely with SEN and pastoral teams to ensure a consistent and holistic approach.

  • Encourage cultural curiosity and build students' confidence in communication and language learning.

The Ideal MFL Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience teaching MFL at secondary level, ideally including GCSE.

  • A sensitive and adaptive teaching style, with a strong understanding of SEMH.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A patient, compassionate, and resilient mindset, with a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
