Job Title: Multi Trader
Location: Broadwater Farm Community Centre, London Borough of Haringey
Start Date: 12th May 2025
End Date: 29th August 2025
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
Rate: 20.02 PAYE / 26.06 Umbrella
DBS Check: Required
We are recruiting on behalf of the London Borough of Haringey for an experienced Multi Trader to join their team at Broadwater Farm Community Centre.
This is a temporary assignment to assist with an increased volume of work, specifically focused on replacement of waste pipes to stack and making good throughout a tower block.
Key Responsibilities:
Replacement of waste pipes to stack within a high-rise residential setting
Carry out associated multi-trade repairs, including making good (plastering, basic carpentry, tiling, etc.)
Work safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
Accurately record work completed and ensure materials are used cost-effectively
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) - essential
Demonstrable experience working as a Multi Trader in social housing or public sector environments
Proficient in a range of trades, including plumbing, plastering, basic carpentry, and tiling
Strong communication and customer service skills
Current DBS check is required (must be provided before start)
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Must be available to start by 12th May 2025
This role is inside IR35.
