Job Title: People Adviser

Location: London or Cardiff Gate, Wales (40% on site requirement)

Contract Type: Temporary - 3-4 months

Salary: 17 - 20 per hour PAYE


Purpose:

Provide practical, solution-focused HR and OD support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Offer advice, coaching, and project support while applying policies and best practice to deliver effective people solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


HR & Employee Relations

  • Advise managers and staff on employment issues and employee relations cases.
  • Approve contractual changes and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Conduct leaver interviews, analyse feedback, and identify trends to improve retention.


Organisational Development & Culture

  • Support design and delivery of OD interventions and HR initiatives.
  • Deliver training, presentations, and promote learning on HR policies.


Business & Analytical Support

  • Build strong relationships with managers and staff to understand business needs.
  • Compile and analyse HR data to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist with organisational change initiatives and policy evaluation.


Team Contribution & Leadership

  • Support People & OD team development and contribute constructively to meetings.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and human rights.
  • Promote membership and support engagement or industrial action activities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and organisational policies.
